Midtown East Apartment
This estate-condition pre-war apartment was completely modernized to support contemporary city living within a compact footprint. The kitchen was reimagined as a semi-open layout with counter seating to improve flow and daily function, while eight-foot doors and framed openings helped create a greater sense of openness throughout. Hidden appliances, integrated storage, and a moody, intimate bedroom retreat brought both practicality and personality to the final design. With limited square footage, every design decision needed to maximize function without sacrificing the graciousness expected in a pre-war apartment, making proportion, storage, and flow central to the design approach.

Scope
