Soto Method UES
Following the success of Soto Method’s first Tribeca location, Hudson Union was engaged to design their second studio on the Upper East Side. The project transformed the former showroom apartment of a newly developed condominium building into a fully functional fitness studio that remained aligned with the brand’s elevated identity. Architectural interventions were carefully integrated to support both performance and acoustics, creating a high-energy studio experience with minimal sound transfer to the residences above. A major challenge was isolating the fitness classroom from the building structure so instructors could maintain the atmosphere essential to the brand without disrupting neighboring apartments.
